Adam/iinet here.
Adam used to be based till iinet bought them, since then the service quality has gone to dogshit. Speeds are a pretty standard 14Mbps down, .85Mbps up. Practical max speed of 1.7MBps.
Pretty common to be stuck at 1.1Mbps down, 0.85Mbps up with an under 50km ping of 300.
Anytime it gets remotely hot the router they provided fails and they wouldn't replace it. So I cut some hole in it and nigger-rigged a desk fan to cool it but it's not that much better tbqhwl. Netcomm a shit.
If it's hot or raining something outside the house fails, whether that's the exchange, shit cabling in the street I don't know, but it happens so often I've had the chance to rigorously fault check my entire home, including throwing a fluke meter on my cabling and it's definitely their fuck up.

Customer service has gone to to shit too. Steam downloads are no longer unmetered, a bunch of other shit too now uses quota. Extra data costs more now. Oh and they slashed my data cap from 200Gb on peak/200Gb off peak to just 200Gb.
Thought about switching to TPG's unlimited plan, but I'm pretty sure they're owned by iinet too.I'm just about last in the country for even the gimped NBN too.
Fuck iinet.
