On the other hand, you can get scripts for the far superior dexamphetamines. Good luck though, without a legitimate reason for it it's difficult to get unless you do a decent amount of doctor shopping.
I had a friend a few years back with a form of narcolepsy who had a dexamp script. He was overprescribed so he'd sell me a third of each bottle. Fun times, shame he moved to another state.
I hear that if you do some doctor shopping and fake the symptoms of ADHD (just go with the stereotypical "I can't focus or concentrate, it's really impacting my university studies" sort of bullshit) then you can eventually snag a script. Takes time though, it's a pretty heavily controlled medication and there aren't many doctors out there willing to prescribe it without making you jump through all sorts of hoops to check that you're not a bullshitter.
