You learn a lot of practical skills, work on biggish projects in your final projects, sometimes for actual companies that need something related to your course and at the end you graduate with a Diploma level, which is one up from VCE year 12 education.

Very good thing to have in terms of skills and your resume.

op let me tell you something about what you want to know..

first.. stop wasting $$$ on stupid fucking diplomas that will get u no where (i have 2 diplomas and employers still told me to basically stick it up my arse and go fuck myself with them) and second, aim for a undergraduate uni degrees as these seem to be more valuable than toilet pape..r i mean tafe diplomas

I'm actually in the middle of a uni degree right now. For video games at QUT

But I took a 1 year leave to deal with my IBS. and my leave is about to end.

so now I have to decide if I continue with my degree, get a full time job or study at a different place or study something different.

I've got a Cert IV in Interactive Digital Media, and will receive another in Screen and Media this month. It depends on what you want to learn. I hated the VFX and 3D modelling, but loved filming and editing. Just make sure you know the details of the course before you pick it.

It's a good idea, but from what I can see there's fuck-all work for computer science grads that isn't in a call centre in this country.
