Right now? Not very. Our economy is starting to slide into the toilet.

Also you'd probably need to be skilled in one of the jobs on the Skilled Occupations List, if you want to have a somewhat decent chance of getting in to the country: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/SOL

What are top sites to find apartments to rent? I found some with google, but feels like them lack at results.

Sydney is more expensive and yet has a shittier standard of living. It's also more 'ethnic', if you get my drift. Melbourne on the other hand is like the San Francisco of the Southern Hemisphere.

Melbourne sounds good so far. Actually i was thinking that little bit already.

Anytime. Its hard to understand how someone can hate heat. Summer are too short here in my opinion and warmer the better.

I live in a shitty room in Chadstone (east melbourne) and it's expensive as fuck. at least the traffic is better than sydney I guess.

Oh m80, you've never known actual proper heat. You're in for an unpleasant lesson.

If you want to sample it, go to your kitchen and turn on the oven at about 200c. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Then open the door and stand with your face directly in front of the oven, bathing in the heat. Now imagine that awful heat all around you, everywhere you go. Now imagine it being like that for days and weeks on end. Just constant dry heat, with not even a cool breeze to take the edge off.

You'll learn to hate heat very quickly.

Melbourne is good if you're a filthy red, otherwise stick to the likes of Adelaide or Perth.

 No.36963

Moi suomi, don't move to melbourne. It's as 'progressive' as the shit parts of stockholm. My gf is a foreigner and when I took her into melbourne for the first time, her first question was 'where are the australians??'. She couldn't believe the amounts of chinks and curries around.

Tassie will probably be hot enough for your finnish blood.

I actually think Melbourne has more "diversity" m8

 No.37015

>>36979

Melbourne and Sydney are shit in different ways.

Melbourne has more suburban diversity.

Sydney has more inner suburban and inner city diversity.

I'm not sure Sydney has anywhere as horrible as Dandenong though, I remember getting off the train there once cause I had to go to VicRoads out there and it was like I'd walked into a vast demilitarized zone. All that was missing was "warning landmines" signs.

It is easy if you can fulfill all the selection criteria of the job you are applying for.

Having some recognized training helps but work experience is better. That doesn't mean you had to have worked in the same industry but that you can relate to the job on offer with your previous work or school experience.

People say there are no job here but there are. Just people don't apply themselves or don't want to work a job they feel is bellow them. But hey, we all have to start somewhere.

While I was studying I myself have gone from being a street cleaner, dog walker, meter reader, promo sales, assistant retail manger, and now I'm 2d animator and part owner of a health food store.

lol, apartments (in australia) are for rich people

everyone in australia lives in houses (either rented, shared, or less and less commonly actually owned). welcome to new world livin' friend

find a shared house and pay like 500-600 a month for all-inclusive rent in a suburb around melbourne

jobs aren't difficult to find if you speak english fine and actually put some effort in, unfortunately because australia is as decent as it is, it's hard as dick to immigrate here unless you are some 3rd world muslim or some shit that can claim refugee status then get everything handed to you

Maybe, maybe not. I think it's best to come first for 1 year.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tampere#Climate

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melbourne#Climate

Looking for months avarage temperature of Melbourne, it's hotter at decem-march than hottest month at where I live. It could be problem or not.

>>37064

If i want to live with welfare, I'll do it here. Infinite €€.

>>37066

>apartments (in australia) are for rich people

Really? Im little bit skeptic.

https://www.ato.gov.au/rates/individual-income-tax-rates/

If these numbers are true, with 3000$ per month you will not loose much money to taxes and there are ok apartments with 1200$/month.

 No.37074

>>37067

>Really? Im little bit skeptic.

Well you're wrong to be skeptical because that Anon was telling the truth. Practically everyone in Australia lives in houses, apartments are generally for rich people.

Don't be too open with telling people you want to live in an apartment. I will straight up punch any cunt in the face who tells me they do because apartments are some of the most unaustralian monstrosities on planet earth.

If you live in apartment you better hope you never meet me.

 No.37104

>>37074

Thirding this, Finbro. Only cunts that can afford to live in apartments are inner-city yuppies making huge bank and foreign students whose dads bought the joint for them.

Also, you might get bashed by angry men from the Internet if you move into one: >>37102

 No.37135

Sydney and Melbourne are both shit. Infested with kebabs, niggers, curries, chinks and jews. Over priced. Filthy.

 No.37172

>lol, apartments (in australia) are for rich people

lel no, stralya is late to urbanise. But it's happening, there's lots of new apartment development happening in sydney. Which is good IMO, because it might help to drop rent prices. It should be government funded.

>>37074

>>37104

This is not truth, these cunts are just bogans from Ulladulla.

>>37067

It's more normal to live in a house here. Like my m8s that have moved out, live in a big 2 storey house thing. That is split in 4 apartments. but it's still really house everyone has their own door, and theres a backyard and everything.

 No.37209

Look into Forjacks in Newcastle OP.

Not as diverse as Sydney and Melbourne, still pretty blue collar.

Rents are too bad.

Even if the toilet/shower/kitchen arrangement is individualised for those four areas, you still sound like a massive softcock who'll take what he can get instead of demanding better. Must be nice settling for mediocrity.

Forjacs will probably be laying off soon anyway. Newcastle has massive unemployment and rent is going the way of Sydney

Or we could just release greenfield land.

Fucking communist planning laws are the reason our house prices are high.

Deregulate it. Let anyone subdivide rural land with no permits required. Abolish zoning.
