> A $1,000 per week luxury Gold Coast rental house which Clive Palmer gifted to a Beenleigh family who lost their toddler son in a house fire, faces a $100,000 repair bill.
> Jaryd Campbell and Belinda Warwick prompted a nationwide outpouring of sympathy when they lost their two-year-old son Roman and all their possessions in a house fire in Beenleigh, south of Brisbane, in May.
> The couple's lease ended this week and when the real estate agent arrived to do their final inspection prior to the owner's return from Singapore, they found the condition of the home so poor, the damage bill could potentially run as high as $100,000.
> In addition to the damage to the house, the family abandoned boxes of toys and other goods donated to them by people touched by their story, along with two cats, which had soiled the floors.
> A car Mr Palmer had donated was also damaged and left behind, also filled with donated items.
> "We had a discussion last night with the family and basically pointed out our disappointment, they're sadly trying to play it down," he said.
> "It was a very kind gesture from the house buyer back in May, the community and all of Australia rallied and assisted us with getting this family back on their feet and rent free."
…and they're laughing at everyone who thought they were battlers, when they're really just fuckwits who had 6 kids who got in to play everyone for suckers.
