AS SEEN ON TV: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Je8d4CVD0w Also, I am aware that the front-page is broken and doesn't refresh most of the time. This is due to a site-wide setting enabled by Hotwheels and there is nothing I can do about it. USE THE CATALOG INSTEAD, as it still seems to work properly.

Shame Red Rock don't make garlic ones anymore, by far the best, along with Kettle's Herb & Spice being close second.

Do you interstate cunts get all those weird limited editions flavours? Egg and bacon have been the best I'd say. As for the normal staple I'd say cheese and onion are my favourite, though I'm becoming a fat cunt so I should switch fruit or something.

 No.37965

Kettle are the best but I only buy them if they're under 2.50. I like Chili and Sea Salt the best. The Chunky ones are good too but are smaller. Red Rock are awful, no wonder they're on special all the time. Dorito's are OK. CC's are shit.

Two of my childhood favourites right here. Nowadays it's usually Doritos or Smiths Original.

This is my shit, I used to LOVE salt and vinegar but they're not as appealing now for some reason.

I used to love these ones

 No.38144

In the long, long ago, I can remember a brand of Burger Rings knock offs called "Skips". They were shaped kind of like little shells, came in tiny packets, and their ads (with a little astronaut faget) were on TV constantly during Amazing and Aggro and that kind of shit.

Their only other notable feature was that they kind of melted in your mouth the way prawn crackers do.

But because of the generic name and its resemblance to a British brand of prawn snacks, I can't seem to find any trace of them ever existing.

Am I going a bit mad, m80-moos?.

m8 these Skips you're on about sound exactly like the British-brand of Skips. Are you sure you're not confusing the two? Or maybe they were made her for a while under license?

That's exactly them: I probably should've clicked on the thumbnails that came up with the British results.

I am not a clever man.

I don't suppose anyone's seen Plantain chips in Oz?

I discovered these a few months ago– they're 'giant bananas', but when you cook them they're like sweet potato instead.

The shops have been doing a lot of alternate-chips lately– lentil chips, etc. but the homemade plantain chips I've made were pretty gud. I'd like to try them…

Bananas? Made into CHIPS?

Do you salt them or season them or anything, or just eat them as is?

 No.39258

>>39257

Plantains are 'flavourless' bananas, and like I said turn out just like sweet potato when cooked/fried. Yeah, you just salt, season, whatever.

When all the Canvandish Banana crops die out, Plantains would work as a replacement– if there was any chance of convincing Australians to cook this as a staple. It's a popular food in Central America.

Not potato but a few aren't so…

I haven't eaten any sort of packet-chip in years. Had a few of these earlier today. Pretty decent, felt like shit for eating such crap afterwards though

I used to be able to eat doritos with no drama, but then when I hit 20 they used to leave me feeling fucked up.

Smiths chicken is some damn fine eating, pringles, kettles and red rock deli are all good too.

Kettle used to have these crinkle thick cut Rock Salt and vinegar but changed to thinly cut for some weird reason.

If I was limited to only one brand and flavour of chips for the rest of my life, I'd probably have to go with Red Rock Deli Honey Soy Chicken Chips, they're fuckin' a.

>>39603

Chipman makes a tasty fuckin' chip, I'll give him that. He does some good corn chips too.

I actually copped a pack of those sweet potato chips you see at those organic health stores, they're pretty good too.
