Basically the student unions have always been Leftish, but over the past five years they've come to be dominated by the radical new-Left. The new-Left have abandoned any attempt to recognise freedoms that were once considered universal by even the Left.

Their MO is straight out of the 60s Marxist textbook. Shut down every organisation, instutution, group or individual who opposes them in any form, using any means.
