If all are autism then all are autism. You are making an all too common "ironic" juxtaposition between an objective reality and a "relative" perspective. If I have two red apples in front of me, the fact that they are both red apples does not change their existence, it only changes context. They do not magically become blue apples because "There is no relative difference between them" and then you can just pick whatever fucking descriptor you want for them.

my original statement was too vague. yes, of course they are still autistic, but if everyone has a developmental delay then what are you comparing against? the developmental delay would be the norm.

your analogy is talking about literally only two apples. in your world, there are still different colored apples to compare against. work on your analogy. it's invalid.

Always a learning experience when somebody makes the same mistake twice.

The developmental delay would be the norm if it were there from the beginning of recorded medical history. If it appeared somewhere along the way, then no, it would still be a condition, regardless of the "normalcy" of it, which has very little to do with medical diagnosis. Would it still be considered an impediment? Perhaps not, but it would still be autism. A rose by any other name is still a rose. Autism is autism, even if it is what society calls, "Normal" at a given period.

you just agreed with the part of my post that said "of course they are still autistic"

and i'll repeat another part again: yes, the original statement was too vague
