I wanted to make a board to foster discussion for anons on 8ch who may want to join up with MRA related groups (such as a voice for men), but have not yet made the commitment to become an activist. It is to promote a healthy discussion about men's rights and current role in society.

Reminder! This is a board created within Chan culture, and business conducted on here is always ironically serious. To take trolls too seriously is missing the point of chan culture, as it has historically always harbored trolls. This board is not to replace serious discussion being had in MRA/MRM forum based websites, but to promote discussion and awareness to fellow anons.
Q; why does 8chan need a board for MRA when reddit has one?
1. that is like saying that gamergate cannot exist here because reddit has a subreddit for it
2. this is an attempt to cast a wider net and expose more people to the concept being the MRA movement, and not all anons use plebbit as implied by the nickname it gives to the site and its users

A: Ignore them. If they are being obvious then, seriously, just ignore them.

A: To say there shouldn't be a board because of potential shilling on an anonymous board is to suggest that >>>/pol/ >>>/leftypol/ >>>/polpol/ and other political boards shouldn't exist because shills. Shit can happen and will attempt to happen. This board is hyper focused on men's rights and has now (AND ALWAYS WILL BE) against hating women and directing any violence towards them. Anyone saying otherwise is either a shill, troll, or if they believe in what they are saying remember that is only a minority opinion being represented by an individual NOT the MRA movement.

Please take note, observers and lurkers, that when MRA is critical about feminism it isn't a criticism directed towards women. Reminder! Men, women, and transgender can all become a feminist. When I talk about feminism in a critical way it is directed towards the ideology itself.

It occurs to me that AVFM has done the same shit though.

This is misleading. Polanski did not plead guilty to the charges pressed against him. Instead, he accepted a plea bargain for a lesser charge. It was not a statutory rape charge, it was the lesser crime 'unlawful sex with a minor'.
He did not flea to avoid sentencing: he served the sentence he agreed to his in plea bargain, which was a period of detainment up to 90 days to receive psychiatric counseling.
The psychiatrist ended it early when they determined Polanski was not a pedophile or a threat to society. Polanski then believed he had served the sentence he agreed to.
The judge however, was then trying to change the sentence to make it longer, even after communicating to Polanski that he had served the entire sentence. People involved in the backroom discussion have testified to this.
Polanski only fled to escape injustice and unwarranted additional sentencing, which the judge said he wouldn't give.

How the fuck does AVFM get off making unproven claims like this about men? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Benefit of the doubt?
Why does Samantha Jane Gailey get the "listen and believe" treatment from AVFM?

Apparently that's all that matters? We have not even established that Samantha was a "victim" of anything.
There was no physical proof any of this happened. Sounds like Roman saw he was getting framed and copped to what he was misled to think was a light-sentence plea bargain to make the hassle go away.
Caving in to plea bargains when everyone assumes the worse in you does not automatically mean you are guilty.
Even if Roman was honestly admitting that 'unlawful sex with a minor' (NOT statutory rape, USWAM is a lesser charge) occurred, that does not mean that whatever so-called "sex" he perceived matched Samantha's account of things.
It does not mean he gave her drugs. It does not mean she said no. It does not mean he stuck it in her pooper.
I mean for all we know, she just jumped into the jacuzzi nude with him and grabbed his dick and he's thinking "oh well I guess that's a handjob and a kind of sex, even if I didn't consent to it"
What makes everyone think Polanski initiated things? What if HE is the victim of Samantha initiating sexual acts with him to get ahead, and he simply wasn't able to avoid it?
He might have been interested in her, wanted to see her in a wet swimsuit, I'll give you that, it would explain how things could get that far, but anything beyond that is pure speculation.
Polanski said she was into it, and he did not say anything about himself being into it, so that's what I'll listen to believe in.
Samantha Gailey sexually assaulted Roman Polanski and he was framed for sexually assaulting her. PROVE ME WRONG.
Who wants to Debunk these Strawmen/Women???
Some comic artist threw together 32 types of strawmen anti-feminists. What I find is typical for these kinds of art pieces (which get quite a bit of circulation) is they 1) give no actual examples of these stereotypes and 2) many of the stereotypes can be more readily noticed of self described feminists. This looks like too big a challenge to dismantle for one autist MRA like me so perhaps we can crowdsource this bitch. Weaponised autism for the win. Respondents could cut out a piece of the comic they want to tackle and I propose with each counter example we name the feminist who does this and provide an image for our artistic types to cartoonify this way it will be an original art piece that will make it harder for them to make a bogus copyright claim and also. This will also be a way for artists in our group to show their talents off with individual cartoons of these feminist counter examples. Someone can be anonymous to hide their power level, use a pseudonym or use their name if they feel so bold.

Destroying MRA stereotypes
There are undoubtedly some people in the MRA community that have a channel but perhaps are stuggling for an interesting angle that would draw in non-MRAs. What about some humor while destroying common stereotypes of MRAs?
We have all seen the negative stereotypes of MRAs claimed several times. The stereotype is a:
"cis gendered" (ie not a trans)
white male
usually has some unattractive traits (like obesity, a shrill voice, or unkempt facial hair)
Unemployed
Living in mother's basement.
and is angry/rude at women
also having no (or appearing not to have) sexual relationships with women.
I have often seen it observed in comments of various MRA videos (usually featuring male feminists)
that viewers notice that the male feminists seem to fit that stereotype more so than genuine MRAs.
What if MRA content producers like Drrandomercam and Bane666 made a video series where they showcased
that the people who most accurately resemble the stereotype of MRAs are not MRAs but male feminists?
I have contacted both bane666 and DrRandomercam about this but not sure if they got the message.
It could be they missed the message or already swamped with projects of thier own.
Perhaps more people can share this with them and other MRA content producers who are looking for something that can be very comedic and informative as well.

Other candidates who resemble stereotypical MRAs in looks and/or behavior are folks like Onisian (sp),
Matt Binder "Mr 70's Haircut", Cenk (from TYT), and Bob Chipman (moviebiob).
Anyone want to do a video featuring one of these with examples of how they resemble the negative stereotypes of MRAs?
Could even title it "Male Feminist or MRA?" Throw in a few MRAs to contrast them with.
