ITT: We "fix" The Legend of Korra.
Hard Mode: Keep the seasons as stand-alone stories.
Book 1:
>Everything up until Episode 9 is the same, except that Korra and Mako are shown interacting in a way where them falling for each other makes sense.
>Amon takes away Korra's bending much earlier. After a lot of sobbing, she realizes that her powers are not what defines her and continues the fight.
>Korra fights Amon without her bending in front of all the Equalists, and managed to keep him on the ropes by turning her airbending and pro-bending moves into a defensive, non-strength-dependent fighting style.
>Amon eventually is forced to use his bending to fight back, but this exposes him in front of all the Equalists and he flees.
>Rest of the season is the same.
