The answer to that question, every time, is this

It gave him bad fee fees, fee fees of shame, jealousy, or anger, so instead of addressing his own fees he tries to blame the center of his attention when the fees were experienced for the fees.

Usually men or women who have not done a lot of heavy philosophical reading *smug* behave this way.

Or it could have just been a playful and friendly joke and they don't actually believe your shit is tacky at all.

I finished American Psycho a few days ago. The movie did not do it justice, although Christian bale did a magnificent job acting it. Loved it from cover to cover, the descriptions are so visceral I felt like I was there, and the end left me almost feeling hollow.. The world it describes makes me want to have lived then and not in this piss ocean we call existence now.

I recently started Don Quixote. Going to be a while before I finish it, never knew it was so long before I got it.

I always assumed the windmill thing was going to be towards the end, a major part of the story, since that is all anyone ever talks about, but it is just a minor thing near the beginning.
