Sleeping/dreaming are my only true releases from the world. How do I get better at dreaming to where I can control/shape the dream world?

 No.8655794

melitonan

also watching hurtcore cp before bed helps me

 No.8655867

Draw an A on the back of your hand, look at it multiple times during the day. While looking you say to yourself "Im dreaming". Repeat until you see the A in your dreams. Your brain will recognize the A and immediately jump to: "I am dreaming".

When it happens, dont go "wonder if i can wake up on command" because you can and it ruins it.

 No.8655900

Not OP but want to know how to do something related; how do I train myself to fall asleep in 60 seconds or less on command?

 No.8655908

>be me

>take a nap because I can.

>deep 3 hour sleep of amazing

>dream right before I am woken up.

>in a huge house, multi-story

>entertaining family fags at like a housewarming.

>its also the first time I am seeing the house for some reason, but its mine?

>master bedroom is decked out.

>huge safe in it, wired for surround sound with a subwoofer and speakers already there.

>something is in the safe?

>oh shit its a ghost.

>name is dave, he lives in the safe.

>ask dave if he died there, "Oh. No man thats why its so weird."

>ask dave if hes ever killed anyone, he says yes, but not in the house.

>notice a steep staircase and go up.

>office for greentexting

>this room too has a safe and speaker system then the stairs go to another level.

>more speakers another safe, no ghost

>sad.jpg

>go up one more floor for some reason.

>epic arcade and game room, pinball machines and everything

>wake up, miserable

>realize I will never live with dave or live in that house

Dreaming is shit.

Beats me. I haven't dreamed in years, and I'm happy for that since I had nightmares all the time as a kid.

just do it. sometimes happens when i need to, such as to escape a threat, otherwise just gotta train yourself to react to any given scenario by, say, flying through the ceiling up into the sky, it'll become a habit

can usually unlock more ram by breaking through barriers, such as walking through dream spiderwebs or poison ivy without fear. suddenly dreams get way more detailed.

start simple

>regular sleep schedule

>after you wake up take a couple of minutes and think really hard if you dreamt, if you remember you dreamt try to remember as much details as possible

>throught the day sporadically remind yourself about what you dreamt

Do this and if you're anything like me that should be enough to start dreaming every night.

Now to become lucid you may need to do pattern spotting.

>trying to remember reoccuring themes withing your dreams.

moods, places, people, anything

Brace yourself for sleep paralysis. One way i ound out to get out of sleep paralysis is to try to scream as hard as you can, i've waken myself up several times by screaming and it seems i didn't make any actual irl noise.

Also anyone else notice the lack of sound in dreams? it's kind of disturbing sometimes, especially in sleep paralysis when you try to scream?

 No.8655935

Everyone dreams, most people just don't remember them.

The best thing to do is implant suggestions at night: "I will remember my dreams."

Even just a little blurry fragment is something. And then, when you do, WRITE IT DOWN. This is the most important thing. I've been doing this for years and I typically fill up 1-6 pages every morning.

>Be me when I was a teenager (around 14).

>Be very early morning

>Be having the hottest wettest dream ever.

>MUH BONER

>Be dreaming me and my twin sister are having sex.

>It's the best sex EVAR!

>Wake up, see sister by my bed.

>WUH?! WTF SIS?!

>Her, shocked and deeply embarrassed.

>She apologizes for playing with my dick while I was sleeping.

>I tell her it's okay.

>She goes on playing with my dick.

>I start playing with her pussy.

>Tell her to get up on the bed.

>She starts jacking me, I start jilling her.

>We both cum really hard.

>BEST SEX EVAR!

>Time to get ready to into school.

>Our feet hit the floor

>We do the dinosaur.

Eat cheese before bed. Different cheeses have different effects. Drink apple cider vinegar, too.

take as much time as you are able to from your day to day schedule and practice simple meditation, like vipassana or "mindfulness". this might not seem like much at first but over time it will help you to focus, recall your dreams, and achieve lucidity. aside from the other anons good advice, hurtcore excluded (lol), a healthy diet can make a difference too. some lucid dream practitioners find it useful to minimize caffeine intake and avoid refined sugars. though it may not be necessary, for further study, look into tibetan "dream yoga". tibetan llamas have been explicitly using and working with lucid dream states for hundreds of years and have a lot to say about the matter. i've been doing practice like this for many years now and it is like having access to full blown virtual reality, but without the need for a clunky headset or $oftware upgrade$. dream on anon, dream on!

 No.8658293

>>8657708

That's a breddy good advice. There's hundreds of these little "shortcuts" and techniques to induce lucid dreaming that other anons posted, but really there's no lucidity in dreams without lucidity in waking life.
