 No.441656

So there's a family of groundhogs that started wreaking havoc on my parents garden. My mom wants them gone but insists that they get caught in a have-a-heart trap and released somewhere else in the woods. Seems to me that for burrowing animals this is more cruel than just shooting them would be, because there's no way they have a chance to survive released somewhere else without a burrow to hide in. They'd just get eaten by coyotes in like a day right? I could see stuff like raccoons and possums having a chance, but not groundhogs.

>>441656

They'll come back

 No.441704

Build a trebuchet.

 No.441728

>>441686

Nah they're going for a car ride several miles away.

>>441704

Now this is problem solving.

 No.441742

They'll just dig new burrows won't they?

I saw one of the little fuckers yesterday. And a possum the day before that. And a skunk the day before the possum. Out of the 3 the skunk is my favorite. Cute little stinky fuckers.

 No.441747

Tell your mom to go fuck herself.

>They'll just dig new burrows won't they?

Can they do it really fast though?

Skunks look cute but the only time I see them is when they've already sprayed a dog (or got run over). I like possums best.

 No.441758

>>441751

Groundhogs are fierce little fuckballs. I'd say they have a surprisingly high chance of survival if you released them. Hell, they'll probably eventually find their way back if you don't go 10-15 miles or so.

 No.441759

They have extensive systems of underground tunnels that can run for miles.

>>441758

Well I think they're going plenty far. But I guess that makes me feel better about the little bastards chances.

>>441759

Well they must be able to burrow pretty fast then. So I guess they'd be ok starting over.

 No.441794

>>441656

They can dig holes fast trough rocky soil. I buried some holes with fill with my skid loader and later with my excavator. Both times I drove by on my quad a few hours later and they had most of the holes cleared. Kiss them upside their heads with a .223 and let them bloat and explode in the summer sun.

Tejina-sempai. It just started but it's pretty cute. It's an ecci comedy about a girl who's really bad at magic.

Kill them and bury them in the holes. They will avoid the area from the smell of their own kind being dead. Works with leftover deer parts as well.

Most will avoid the trap, shoot them when she isn't around then put them in a hole. You saved gas time hassle etc., just make sure you get everyone of them or any that live will breed a new batch over winter. :^)

>>442284

I think it's good.

>>442288

I believe it's planned for the season.

It seems to be pretty well paced because the episodes are 12 minutes but they 4 or 5 short scenes in each. I guess there's plenty of content to adapt.

 No.442355

Should be done in like 3 months.

 No.442363

>the episodes are 12 minutes

Yeah that's what had me worried. Seems like shows that have a shorter runtime usually end pretty quickly. I guess it depends on how well the manga sells in Nippon
