Is anyone else upset about Youtube? Obviously a huge outbreak came out a while ago with the bob vs. Google+ shit, but still why hasn't anyone moved! So much shit would be better if they moved to a different site, especially if it was a .onion as copyright wouldn't be enforced.

I fucking swear, all it would take is for 1 famous person on youtube to move to another site, and it would start a movement to the new site. Just 1 fucking person. Everyone has already had enough of Youtube, with it's strict Copyright shit, they have BOTS that scan through all the videos! The bot can fucking ban you too, without any confirmation whatsoever from an actual person.

Fuck you YouTube, and fuck it's large community for not realizing when to leave.

I share your sentiment but never plan to leave. There's just a wealth of content there.

That being said I did delete my google account and set up an anonymous one that doesn't trace back to my email or my comments back to a profile.

The youtube comment section is reddit and facebook combined at this point.

You forgot 4chan. Honestly it pisses me off to great extents when someone used the > to do a greentext on websites that don't have it. That's why all the kids know > as "meme arrows" now.

That's an inside joke I'm pretty sure. Same with maymay and other slang terms parodying the culture. Sometimes when the > is used as a stand-in for a name or @ or other sort of mention it is acceptable, but only in very very limited contexts.

Yeah, when > is used simply as a quote (its original usage), there's nothing wrong with it. Though when you start spouting memes, lack of meme arrows isn't going to save it…
