Alright, /bane/, here we are. I am going to make a whole world for Bane Lore in Skyrim's GECK.

Now, I want YOU to decide what it's called. It has to be lore-friendly sounding and also very initiated.

You also need to give me tips on what the world needs to be/look like and maybe even make up some maps for reference.

whole worldspace seems a bit much where an interior cell made to look like an exterior would suffice. Then again I guess it depends on what you want to do: create essentially a themepark type world for all things bane or create subtle hints to the all things bane. The latter sounds cooler, like adding factions associated with CIA and big guys and masked mercenaries. As for the plane, you should make it an airship since that is lore-friendly.

1. I have the .esp for the worldspace (Baelfyr) saved.

2. I edit the worldspace (put in any little difference) but I get pic related.

For that problem, did you remember to set Baelfyr.esp as an active file when starting up CK? Not doing so can give that problem.

If this is your first time, you should consider either utilizing an interior and fashioning to look like an exterior or using an already set mod and modifying that (after you've gotten permission from the modder and explained the whole situation. I would do it but I'm always busy and working on another personal mod of my own. I could try and help out but beyond that my hands are generally tied. I will say that a worldspace is best reserved for when you know the creation kit well since so much goes into it and they are a big hassle to work with. You can always add a worldspace later, especially through the power of merged mods.

Yes, Bane needs to be an NPC enemy. I'll figure out how to make his actor but I think the real challenge will be making an enemy faction for him.

I also was thinking of making CIA a follower so I'll work on that too.

The factions are actually pretty easy. Making the characters is easy as well, just tedious and getting the faces and armors done is the hard part since we'll probably have to import assets. That is one thing I am very bad at as well as quest stuff so I'm not help there.

As for setting a file active, when you open it up in CK, double-clicking the file in the list will set it to active. You don;t even have to click on the Skyrim.esm or Update.esm option, just the file you are looking for.

These are some factions I whipped up quickly in between working on my own personal mod and such. If I had more time I would be more help.

Did you give him a package? If so, then he might have walked away. If you placed him near something dangerous, he may be dead and the clean-up script may have kicked in. If you placed in him an area that is linked to a quest (like the Civil War storyline) and you're done with that quest/story, he may not load (not common but it happens for whatever reason).

Packages determine character behavior/schedules/routines. It's located under AI Packages when editing a character.

If you made the character from scratch then I'd say he doesn't have one and should be where you left him. If he is a copy of another in-game character, then he may an AI package that causes him to go elsewhere in the game.

All that aside, he may still be in the Bannered Mare just elsewhere. Even without a sandbox package, characters sometimes move around when they shouldn't.
