Who is Yu? Did Bane mean Juan Avyu?

Bane thinks that Yu is still alive, and failed to help start the fire.

If so, Bane jumping back was really a dodge of Juan's ghost, who is attempting to stop the big guy from killing Avyu for good. It's unclear if the ghost is real or not, but this explains Bane's Sheev-like jump coinciding with the arrival of Selena.

SPOILER ALERT:

Rumour has it that the plane sequence was actually from a spin off movie Nolan was making as a prelude to TDKR. In the spin-off, he was an ex-soldier who decided to join the CIA and there he meet with a man named Wintergreen, with who he develops a rivalry. Both go on a mission to Uzbekistan and then the plane sequence happens. He is saved by a mysterious man named Simon Darrk (He is an amalgam of Doctor Darrk and Azrael). CIA tries to contact the agency but nobody answers him, and then he is meet with the news that Wintergreen was captured by Bane. Enraged, he accepts to receive training by Darrk, makes a mask, and becomes Deathstroke. There were plans to include Deathstroke in TDKR too, but the plans were scrapped because WB feared that the movie may not gain any attention and Nolan thought that the movie wasn't realistic enough. At the end, they decided to rush the production of TDKR and put the plane sequence from the failed spinoff at the beginning, erasing any mention or appearance of Wintergreen and some extra line from CIA and Bane. There is a reference to this in the novelization were CIA's real name is revealed to be Bill Wilson, which was going to be used in the movie instead of Slade Wilson.

Was the Big Guy Bane? What if CIA meant to ask if Bane is indeed his prize and only realized when he pulled the hood that the Big Guy may not be him? This would explain the significance of his mask question - he wasn't sure who the big guy was.

Was alright except that the timeline is all messed up (Wilson and Wintergreen were friends and they met before Wilson became a government agent and he may have just found out about Bane and that leads him to pursue him his whole life up until they meet) and that whole amalgamation character thing is cheesy as fuck and CIA would have to become Deathstroke after the plane scene.
