>implying baneposting would have taken off if CIA wasn't so memorable
>implying the "For you" is more important than the "You're a big guy"
Haven't you ever noticed that although we do enjoy other scenes involving Bane, none of them are on the level of the plane scene Haven't you noticed that it works even though we aren't supposed to know Bane is there for the first HALF of the scene?
It's CIA that carries the whole thing with his weird posture, his odd smart casual and khakis get up, his forced American accent and of course his power stance, which screams I don't know what to do with my hands.
Aiden Gillen thought all this through and put these mannerisms in to make it memorable. He deliberately put these in to make a lasting connection with the audience.
Gillen characterised CIA as an autist who overthinks how he dresses, who is terrified of not being in charge. Look at how awkwardly he holds the gun, like he knows he doesn't deserve to. The destruction of this nervous, unsure man, who is in way over his head, is brutally compelling. It is timeless. The man who flies too close to the Sun.
Calling it Baneposting is a misnomer.
Saying BRAVO NOLAN is a joke.
It's Aiden's baby.
And yet here you are shitting on his new movie even though there's a chance it could bring something just as special. Your head is far too hot. Please step outside until you earn some fucking taste for the finer things in life.
