Watch this hothead. Their whole reasoning is that humans are just like other animals, so we should threat animals well, and don't kill them. Even though animals do kill and eat other animals, and we can raise and kill them painlessly.
I think they see life in the form, and not in the movement. Bit hard to explain, it's like when you look at two flowers, one of them is dying but alive, the other one was frozen, so it's already dead. Vegans would say that the frozen, dead flower is more alive that the still living one.
