agreed, Aiden really shines, only when he's with bravo Nolan, in this movie the director's camera angles and lighting don't allow you to see his full facial expressions

I meant in this video. On the big screen you could see his facial expressions very clearly. Lots of focus on his face. It was beautiful.

I don't like CIA's attempt at an irish accent in this film, it comes off as natural sound-wise, but it doesn't suit his character at all.

All Baneposting aside, hhen you think about it, Aiden does a really good job playing a villain. Even appearance-wise, he has the perfect look of a villain without looking like a caricature. Moreover he comes across as a cerebral character each time I see him which makes him seem even more intimidating as a villain. Add in his expressive style of acting and I can see why the director made a fuss to get him for the movie. Even more so, I can see why he comes across as more memorable when he plays these kind of roles or at least roles where he is some sort of authority figure with a bit of edge.

He makes a really good psychopath I think. The charisma, the smugness, the dickishness, the calculating look, it all works so well. I love watching him play villains, or the morally ambiguous in this case. Or in every case, I've rooted for him even in his serial killer roles, but that's just me.
