They are a disgrace to whatever the real anonymous once was. Script kiddies who can't even ping when trying to DDoS trumptowers is an example. Just cringeworthy.

Can we find some of these, dox them, and report them to the police or something? They are doing illegal stuff…

Another way, which would be very funny if we could make it work, was to start fake "ops", which increasingly become more and more JIDF, and surpassing them.. JIDF gets famous, and the real JIDF will hopefully be an enemy of fake JIDF, and we can see JIDF vs fake anonymous. Could that work?

Windows is just as good as Kali, if you're not a script kiddie. There's no "right OS" for a hacker, beyond simple convenience. I have Windows but I run bash on it, so what? Hacking is more making tools and using your own, beyond libraries the programs/scripts themselves should be your code, unless you're reusing other people's exploits wholesale.

I use windows for some games and on my laptop. I have tried to patch it up as good as I can, and not many packets go out of it now.. I guess some of it is hardcoded, but fixing hosts + some services goes a long way.. but yes, it has become increasingly shittier..

I read about some BIOS backdoor the NSA supposedly has now, and that's some scary shit if it is true… I wonder if true privacy will ever return… one thing is for sure; they are getting really good at taking out high-profile targets now… we are almost getting to the point where roaming in a distant country is the only really safe thing, plus physically removing any input devices that are not essential..

There's supposedly WiFi capabilities in Intel chips that can't be disabled, and bluetooth keyboards have bad security on purpose, and laser printers all cover everything with tiny yellow dots to watermark serial number + print date, and many other things. I can SSH into a Linux box, and do that several times a week, but if you use Windows all the time, you learn how to do things on it instead. It's really not that big of a deal.

Linux is a better server OS, and in general a better OS, but… it sucks for a desktop. You can go and fix all the things in which it sucks, but it's just easier to fix a Windows desktop. YMMV but Linux is by no means a requirement.

It all depends on the environment and the situation. Personally, I find the ideal setup to keep Kali in a vbox on a Windows guest. Makes everything look much more normal, and reduces the damage that could be done by a counter-hack.

There isn't really a fake Anonymous–they're just maskfags and moralfags working as a team. Maskfags suck shit but when people say "fake anonymous" it comes off as…dumb.
