hi, i'm new to tor and darknet and all that stuff. i'm getting vpn here in a minute.
originally i was just concerned about privacy from govt and wanted somewhere safe to put my repos.
but then i saw you can buy all kinds of drugs. seems pretty commonplace. started casually looking into it because i want to buy a little weed for me and my gf (she wants to try it).
this cryptocurrency shit is a lot to take in. i created a tutanota email, and i've been trying to buy bitcoins with my credit card over tor but the few sites i've tried piss their pants about tor.
i'm stuck now. do i have to get dirty bitcoins with my credit card on clearnet, then toss them in something like bitcoin fog? do i do one of those local bitcoin exchanges where we meet at a coffee shop in trench coats and exchange a brown bag of money for bitcoins? is that Grams Helix shit legit? can i just use dirty bitcoins through that?

ps: should i be using the vpn exclusively when i get it (aside from doing shady shit with bitcoins and drug marketplaces)? tor is slow as fuck and i'm going to blow my brains out if i have to enter another cloudflare captcha
