I have some scan results in from nmap. I'll post the full report in the morning, but I'll summarize now.
MC and the CP sites have the exact same registrar: eNom. MC runs Apache/2.2.15 with PHP/5.5.28 plus OpenSSH 5.3 and an unidentifiable version of MySQL. The site is completely vulnerable to a slowloris attack.
Don't start anything just yet. Probe around and see if you can dig up any more attack vectors. If you do, report them here. If you know anything else, then speak up.

Ok, status update.
The registrar, eNom, is somewhat notorious as a haven for spammers. However, its holding company Demand Media owns two high-profile, ad-supported properties: Cracked.com, and eHow. That means they may be vulnerable to public pressure. With enough of it, we may be able to get them to cancel the registrations of all the sites and park their domains.
That won't be enough to shut down these sites permanently–they'll just find another, less scrupulous registrar–but it will knock them off balance. It will break all current links to the site, invalidate their search engine results, and generally disrupt their communities.
In the scramble to find a new domain name, they could end up communicating identifying–and incriminating–information across the web. From there we can make our move.
In the mean time, we should open up a slowloris assault on MC. That will disrupt the enemy's communication and make it more difficult for them to react and respond to our own manuvers.

On Kali Linux you can do this with slowhttptest, Tor with Arm, and a lightweight proxy like Polipo (set with caching disabled so the requests go through transparently, since slowhttptest only supports HTTP proxies).
The other option is to exploit asymmetries in the resource consumption of cryptographic protocols, like SSL and its SSH server.

It operates out of Vietnam (though I suspect the owner may actually be Russian), it has a constantly changing list of domains that point to it, they allege legality (even while distributing CP), it spams legal sites, and it's apparently under investigation by KMar.
