>>2444>>2446This kind of staff behavior predates and really has nothing to do with these confounded "SJW" people though. That is a Tumblr fad as of what, 2011? And even then 4chan did not start whining about the EEVEEL social justice warriors until what, last year?
I have been on image boards and forums for over a decade. They were ALWAYS like that. I have been banned countless times for arguing or just posting something the staff did not like. Hell, sometimes they just ban me for existing. People started making their own image boards after 4chan to get away from that, and then eventually resorted to the same oppressive and careless style of moderation, which is one reason why a lot of them never really took off, or like 7chan, what was once the second stop after 4chan is now an over-moderated "no summerfags allowed" ghost town.
Unless the staff are schadenfreude-seeking sadists(like many used to be), they tend to hate arguments and things which offend them. That is EVERYWHERE, and it predates the SJW movement by decades.
My point is, you can complain about the staff all you want, but at the very least, you could depart the 4chan hivemind of calling everyone you dislike an "I AM A GIANT DIPSHIT WHO NEEDS TO RESORT TO BUZZWORDSic fedora-wearing SJW" for a few minutes and actually criticize them according to your own individual sense, instead of being a mindless regurgitater of terms you do not fully understand. Just like every 17-year old on /v/ and the actual social justice warriors, spouting "cis gender" and all those other dumb internet buzzwords.
I know I know. That would require objective thinking, and that would just be too difficult. Nevermind. Forget I said anything. The hivemind can be very comfy.
