In my experience it only takes a few sets of miraberries to start "heaving and retching" incessantly every other turn for a long time and if you just sold a bunch of fat, you'll get poisoned from a minuscule amount (3 in my case) and die in about 6 turns if you don't find a medique. When slimes see you collapse they force themselves inside of you until you burst. Retch in this context is open to interpretation so it could be "all bark" so to speak, but that's still really not my thing.
That said in a later playthrough I did manage to get so fat that someone gave me a mechanical walker. Is this some sort of commentary on the burden obese individuals place on society? Meh, probably not. I was then told I could become my own planet…which I have no interest in due to the lack of a save functionality.
I know that shit sounds cool but it's really not that interesting without pictures or animations. I have very little faith in this project, but I may poke around every now and then if I've got an hour or 2 to waste.
