This place needs livening up. Post banners for it.

Double point for pop'n style banners with genres.

All you can really do is memorize the patterns on Pluto the First. I don't know what to tell you about DEGRS since I haven't played it.

 No.115

DEGRS is a clusterfuck of fucking shit. Don't bother with it.

Searched the catalog for 'pop' and saw nothing, so here goes.

I want to get into Pop'n Music more, but my PS2 just died and as an American I have no consistent access to Pop'n games. I don't have money to fix the PS2 right now either. I do have Pop'n Portable on my PSP, and I'm practicing on that now (learning 7-button is weird), but I long to return to a proper controller like on my PS2 (got the Controller Set with Pop'n 10 on PS2 a while back).

I've heard that you can download rips of the arcade games and install them on a PC. I am really interested in that, as it would finally give me something on which to access the sweet sweet Pop'n. That said, I can't seem to find anything about it except for old forum posts about DDR. Maybe I'm just looking for the wrong thing, but I just can't seem to get it. If anyone could help me get Pop'n Music on my computer then I would be super thankful.

Thanks for reading Bemanibros, hope to hear good news soon.

Ask the guys at irc.bemaniso.ws, they might be able to help you

This board needs tags. I was lucky to find it as is!

 No.149

I don't know if bemani is large enough to have its own board.

Maybe threads in /v/ would be a better idea, at least for now. But I dunno, it might just get bombed with requests for sows invites or something. (Not that I wouldn't ask, I could use one myself).

 No.137[Reply]

No one seems to ever talk about drum mania or dtxmania. Does anyone know of a decent kit? I want to start playing again since I'm not in a band anymore/drums are too loud to practice at home.

 No.147

Don't know of one offhand, but maybe some rock band drumkit would work for you? I think there were some higher-quality 3rd party ones made, and I doubt that people would care about them that much now that the popularity is gone.

I recently became rather interested in the topic, and found two programs: REFLET MUSE and RMSCreator.

Look them up.

Thanks to our mod MENDES for discovering them on Z-I-v

so, amerifats, be serious, do you think there's even a smidgen of a chance Konami would ever consider releasing Sound Voltex in the states?

 No.95

not Muricafag, but I'd say the chance is below zero. If Konami won't release games with their own original content in the US, they won't do shit for games with a mostly fan-made soundtrack. The licensing issues would make turn them right off it. (The same issues mean that SDVX tracks can't ever appear on OSTs)

 No.98

0 chance unless for some reason arcades came back to life and rhythm gaming became more popular than pac man

 No.99

Nope.

You'd get laughed out of any boardroom for proposing Vocaloid songs in an American release.

 No.102

>>94
yeah, no chance.

best to stick with rips/k-shoot because it's the best you're going to do without moving to japan.
