So, if I go to a bank and withdraw more than $10k in cash, I have to file a report.

…alright, say I go ahead and sign the paperwork to withdraw it in cash. What's the big deal? What can the govt do to me now?

Also, is there a car dealer who would be willing to transact in gold?

bitcoin = 200USD

I don't see it can go any lower, well that wasn't that bad I think. I see bit coin is a medium of exchange but not a store value.

what do you think?

Taxes are bad.

There should be no taxes.

Even worse, they're irrelevant. The central banks of the world have taken money printing to such an insane degree that the notion taxpayers will ever be able to repay that debt has become impossible to entertain (and you betcha it'll get dragged out as long as possible, until every shred of possible sanity has been rendered obsolete)

A factoid I've heard, you can tax %100 of the citizens (i assume this also includes the %1) by %100 of their income, and the national debt still wouldn't be repaid.

Taxes are necessary within government (which i argue is also necessary to arbitrate disputes), but combine that with the opiate that is printing money on credit and everything slowly dissolves away over time, and we're the substance being dissolved.

Still, I'd rather pay tribute to our quell our monetary overlords insatiable appetite lest they confiscate ALL my wealth and throw me in a cage for disobeying them. What a country!

The next month or so may be the cheapest period we'll have to build a position in cryptocurrency. It's getting pounded lower against the rise of the US markets, which won't last. 2550 CNY/ $380 seems like strong resistance, we'll see.

Fed's gonna meet on March 15-16 and announce whether or not they're gonna raise rates. If they don't, the SPX will probably float around 1950-2000, if they do expect the markets to tank again. I'd guess they'd stall until their next meeting, feels like the excuse of their previous raise can last a little longer, but they could just as easily raise.

If the markets are still up right before the Fed meeting you can get stupid cheap SPY puts that expire the 18th, three days after they meet. That'll be fun to see if I can turn ~30c puts into $3+. It's a long shot but something i'm watching out for.

'Merican here.

Where should I move, /biz/?

This may not be quite the right board to ask this question, but I am in dire need of an answer. Currently paying way more rent than I should on a mediocre to sub-par 4 bd + 2 & 1/2 br split-level. This home was originally bought by the landlord's mother for a few hundred thousand, and it sure ain't worth that much anymore.

I once rented a 1-story, 4 bd & 2 br home for less than $1,500/mo. It may have been a shoebox, but it was comfy as fuck and the deal was unbeatable. I regret ever having left that house.

Can /biz/ suggest a suburban area with rentals similar to the comfy home described above? There sure aren't any left in the 'burbs where I'm from. I == absolutely == refuse to live in an apartment or townhouse. Done both before; hated them more than life itself.

not OP, but with oil getting phased out humanity needs to use a new source of energy, nuclear is pretty clean despite the news you usually hear, thus uranium is an attractive endeavor.

My mother just won $36,000.00 from a court settlement case she had. She was supposed to get a lot more from the insurance but unfortunately the guy who crashed into her died, and the insurance company decided to tender the full limits.

My mother being a woman, doesn't know what to invest her money in.

What sort of business would be good to invest in here in the Southern Nevada region?

it's just price history, pay attention to where it was too cheap to sell and too expensive to buy. and whatever EL is it's not really a penny stock, it's held a solid $2-$10 range since the 90's. KBIO is a good example of pennystock-like behavior https://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=KBIO

i dunno anything about the company so do your dd, i don't own any. they could go bust at any point. like anything.

I hope you bought some, Hecla just submitted their permits for a Ag-Cu project to the northeast of the Lucky Friday. It'll be a couple years probably before they break ground but if it moves forward should be a good project.

Another mining project you might keep an eye on: Nevsun Resrouces. NSU

I have about $1000 in them though it hasn't done well since I bought at a bit over $4 right before the commodities crash in mid summer. Geologically it's a good resource with room for future expansion. It's primarily copper and zinc deposit with still decent gold, silver and lead. It's high grade and extraction costs are pretty low.

Downsides are it's in Eritrea so some risk there, also the deposit is tilted so you have to move a lot of extra dirt compared to a flat lying deposit. Also since Cu/Zn/Pb demand is related to industrial activity, China and the global economy in general are something to consider as well

..

Uranium is allegedly set to go way up so I bought $500 of Cameco http://www.mining.com/web/dev-randhawa-fission-ceo-talks-failed-denison-merger-chinese-investment-and-uranium-outlook-2016/

Will there be any sort of major shift in supply and demand?

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=NYMEX:CL1!

yeah. the price before the huge runup to 100+ trended between $17-25, likely we're going to return to that channel for the time being.

Unbelievable.. if the worlds MOST TRADED COMMODITY was climbed above and stayed at $100+ for so long, and the price has now 'corrected' $30, that tells me that the price over $100 must've been artificially influenced.

KEEP FILLIN THAT TANK, GOY!

the most traded commodity on the planet having price swings of %200+… if the markets were fair, the most traded commodity in existence would only fluctuate by 10-30% at most.

Sure ain't regretting it after this morning. (tonight for you muricans)

NICS is probably a good indicator for the market conditions.

23.54 is kinda high man, it was at $10 at the beginning of last year, looking at the chart it could easily retrace back to $24

i'd get out now if i were you, there are better priced stocks out there that aren't at new all-time-highs.

ecf5fd No.1066

I was planning on getting it around the time I made this thread, but I decided not to. I think it's about time to sell. I don't think it can keep going up.

577820 No.1067

>>1063

NICS are at an all time high, and currently Shillary still have a chance at winning, with the GOP trying the hardest to fuck itself in the ass, we may well see Shillary winning the election via GOP sabotage. The fear is still there to drive the sales, and the NICS numbers reflect that. SWHC will stay high for a while. Seriously their demand is so high they've had to outsource barrel production to GD because they can't maintain their inventory.

As soon as it looks like God Emperor Trump is winning, I'm letting it go of course. I doubt the Obama fear will continue with a republican president.

ecf5fd No.1071

If Shillary, buy.

If Trump, sell.

Hello /biz/ I don't really use this board I only have ever really gone on halfchan /biz/ in the past out of interest but I wanted to ask you lot a question.

I want to get into bussniess, I can produce projects at ease since I have good connections but my knowledge in bussniess is lacking, know where I can go to learn like good book suggestions or videos on economics or something?

I could ask around Google but asking autistic channers is funnier, thanks in advance.

You're being quite vague. Also, don't confuse business with enterprise. Anybody can do business. It doesn't necessarily mean running a big company.
