allright guys, i have a question
fish packing summer job in alaska: great idea, or hell on earth
i know there's an expected 12-16 hour a day average, and i know that'll get hard really really fast
and i know fish are smelly and lopping off 7000 fish heads a day will suck, but not too much, as i'm used to gutting pet chickens for dinner
i know the situation and people will suck, and it will be cold as shit
is there anything i'm really missing?
and also any prior experiences or stories would be helpful and appreciated

Alaska itself is fine. The outside temperature during the summer is fairly warm, assuming you'll be in Anchorage or lower. Even if you aren't, it shouldn't be THAT cold in the summer. It usually hovers around the 70s. Unless cold-as-shit was referring to something else like refrigeration in the plant or whatever, I think you'll be fine.
Dunno jack shit about the fish industry though. Make sure it's worth your trouble.
