Currently in a lot of debt, however they make good products and their shares are only about 3 dollars a piece right now.
At one time this stock was 90 dollars per share.
Perhaps if they can turn around their company then a potential investor could make a lot in returns, however, it's still a bit of a gamble.
What do you all think?
Also, general stocks thread.

I'm looking at it this way.
Pros:
>AMD is the only other major x86 manufacturer next to Intel
>Has a strong hold of low-end CPU markets
>Recent executive shuffling brings potential for what AMD could do
Cons:
>x86 is becoming less relevant due to ARM
>General computer sales have stabilized, meaning there is little growth in the future unless AMD continues to take Intel head on
>Recent screw ups in CPU designs have set them back at least a generation behind Intel and Nvidia
>Dedicated graphic processors are less common today
>Has pretty much ignored the tablet/mobile market until it was too late
AMD has potential and I think current CEO Lisa Su has noticed that but they better hope for some good products in the next few years to stay afloat while their loans mature.

I wanted to invest in Yahoo awhile back in October when they were just above 30 and now they're just under 50.
Should have gone through with it.
I'm still not experienced with stocks though, so any tips for a beginner?

I use the r9 290x and I love it, but again, that doesn't mean this will be profitable.
