Hi, im going to start selling internet connection in a small town in a 3rd word country… the regular deal is 2Mb/s for the inaccurate equivalent of $40 US per mount (plus 100 minutes local phone calls or some shit alike)
i use to pay $100US for 6Mb and was considerate an outstanding speed… now i have been offered a deal to make my own company, this guy gets his signal from Germany and has established a good competence for the rest of the mostly know companies in the big cities, but he admits its too lazy to do it on medium/small towns and hires guys like me to make their own mini business.
he will be only giving me the signal witch is around 200Mb/s, at the cost of $600 per month to sell as i please (i was thinking 15Mb per house), everything else is on my own like searching lands to where and how to put the towers, installations and the satellites will be on my own (which sucks since we are in a hole surrounded by hills, and each satellite seems to cost around $2600 and i will need like 12-15 for towers and 1 of $1500 for every customer
my questions to you guys is; the price of $600 for 200mb is fair enough? how much i can charge for? i really really would love to give my town better internet connection that the usual duo polio of companies do, but im struggling to find balance in making money and give a really fair price.
Also, the guy who made the offer thought i knew about this kinda of stuff because i look like i do… but i don't, still i believe i can easily learn on the run.
Also, i really dont have any starting capital, just a local where i repair mundane problems people have with their desktops and laps, which keeps me fine but not enough to save.

Make sure you go to a place where people can actually afford and use the internet. Don't go to some poor as hell third world country like NIUE, which supposedly is a 'wifi nation', but in reality almost 95% of its population cannot afford it, the infrastructure is 1990s tier and it's slow as dial up. Make sure to find the right country
