I know it sounds incredibly stupid to cash out my 401k, but is it worth it to deal with the tax penalties and put that money into gold/silver or other hard assets? Is there any safe way to ride out the upcoming collapse. I can't see it not happen. Especially since the Fed has been delaying raising interest rates and keeps pissing out money with QE. Let's discuss this /biz/. Are us /pol/lacks that paranoid or is there something to this.

If you're scared of the apocalypse, might as well take all your money and go innawoods right now. But you better be right, because if that apocalypse doesn't come (hasn't happened in centuries, even Great Depression wasn't bad enough to justify running for the hills) you'll feel pretty stupid.
