sup guys im new to /biz/ and i know than i should lurk moar, but 4chan /biz/ is shit and with the new problem i prefer stay here, i want to know more subreddits about finance but i dont know what are the best, can you help me /biz/?

0415a7 No.782

Well like anything it depends what your personal goals are. Investing? Trading? Starting a business?

/r/finance, /r/personalfinance, /r/investing are decent. I'd stay away from the super-generic places like /r/economy because there's more usually more fluff in there than you'd ever need. If you wanna look at trading visit /r/wallstreetbets. Anyway most subreddits have useful links in their sidebars that will take you to some of the best resources to learn about this stuff.

Are subreddits even reliable?

I mean, that place is controlled by market manipulators.

You know who

about as reliable as anything else, not all subs are that heavily modded. r/conspiracy is fun, and r/economy isn't to retarded.

or just read zerohedge if you wanna learn what's happening in the current economic climate.

I wouldn't mind knowing if any other chans had a decent /biz/ or /related board

I know 99 chan has a /money/ board but there's only 4 pages and nobody has posted in over a year.

none afaik, chan demographics aren't usually of the productive/disciplined variety. you'd be better off using an actual forum.

also made a mistake, r/economics is mostly fluff, r/economy is less shit.

generally the larger the userbase the more retarded the content. herd mentality and all that.

I really liked 4/biz/ when it first started. I made a few hundred on cryptos just by monitoring what's popular. Now it's not as great with too many shitposters, but 8/biz/ has the opposite problem.

I guess an ideal board for me would be plenty of people discussing good money making opportunities.

well that's the issue with a free market, as soon as something profitable is discovered you've got a thousand other people doing the same thing. competition brings about fair market value. this is why the notion of easy money is rarely ever true, and if so it's never constant.

I like this board but it's so dead. 8chan in general is often like this. It's a shame.

Really, I wish we could move over here. Well the good /biz/ness men that is.
