This is happening in a number of American states, where penalties for not just possession, but distribution and production have been reduced to either misdemeanors or civil infractions.

It's not everywhere, but decriminalization for minors is definitely the legal trend. Elsewhere, where the laws have not yet been updated, prosecutorial discretion is exercised where authorities turn a deaf ear and a blind eye.

It's almost as though people are accepting that nude pics of kids, in and of themselves, are not that big a deal. Zero effort is made to restrict the availability of CP production and transmission technology to minors; in fact, the practice has only been made easier for them, and they are emboldened by a promiscuous culture. Lawmakers are only looking for ways to let minors off the hook. Nevertheless, the appetite to dehumanize pedos who come to obtain these very same materials has not wavered.

I'd love to know what the NSA or FBI knows about the sheer volume of bona fide CP that is being traded by minors over smartphone apps. Government and media do a good job keeping a lid on it, but every now and then the story bubbles to the surface.

I understand we cannot ask people to post or allow nude pictures of their kids. Doing so would be like asking them to shoot themselves in the foot. Parents have the desire to protect their children and will generally do so withing their means. It also happens that most of them don't want people to fap to their kids.

On the other side, I can't understand why is it wrong to find another human being beautiful. I can't help but to like boys, and it is irrelevant whether their are clothed or not. I can fap to the memory of ramdom fully clothed boys I saw on the street. Thinking that doing so is wrong is similar to believing that it is wrong for a man to find another man beautiful. Should be forbid suggestive pictures of men in an effort to curb homosexuality? Of course not, that would be absurd. I understand that when dealing with kids one should consider ther psicosexual development and wellbeing. But I believe that there is no conflict between that and finding boys beautiful. No harm is dealt by doing so.

Additionally, if kids want to share nude pictures of themselves or if a story benefits from having nude children, I see no reason to forbid it as long as no harm is done. The naked human body is probably one of the most natural things to us as a species. Forcing people to hide it makes no sense.

I also can't seem to understand what you mean by "sexualizing". There is no such thing, at least for me. When I find a boy cute or beautiful I experience sexual pleasure at the same time. Both feelings are one at the same. Other people are only capable of experiencing the beauty, but if they experienced both feelings they wouldn't see them as different.

What I mean is that by me finding boys beautiful, no new quality is added to what other people consider cute and/or beautiful. The only thing that differs is my own perception, which once again does not affect anyone. There may be the risk of doing things strictly for our own pleasure as a result. That't why I also propose a humanistic approach, and considering with clear focus the particular feelings and needs of the person we are dealing with instead of only our own.
