We must be careful of how much this board is linked.
As our population increases, the activity increases. Activity and "palatability to the plebs" are related. If /bmw/ is slower than a snail, shitposting /bmw/ links everywhere won't attract too many plebs. If /bmw/ is a busy little bus stop then plebs linked here are more likely to stick around like snot.
Mainly, we need to focus on attracting talent, not plebs. If we need dark armies (aka GamerGate), we should make operation boards for that purpose and then try to attract as many of the plebs as cogs as possible (while keeping an eye and a supply line for talent open).
I think post quality and IQ correlate. If only 2% of the population has an IQ that is 2+ standard deviations above mean, then this may roughly (at worst) apply to the 8chan population. Our control value as to what "max talent" numbers should be, if we strictly want high IQ talent, 2% of the total unique 8chan visitor count. The trick is to keep /bmw/'s post hygiene up to snuff, in such a way as mainly high-IQ, K in r/K selection, posters are posting. This means long-term banning posters of shit, /x/ and /fringe/ garbage as if it were real-life (beyond using it for memetic purposes), etc. Plebs don't like censorship of garbage. The intelligent don't like censorship of good ideas.
If our board population goes beyond that 2%, we can be sure we have a pleb problem and the board might end up operationally useless/compromised. Quiet transition would be indicated at that point.
