I will admit that it is a bit of a stretch, but the premise is that much of modern life is safe, comparatively speaking. Sterile. Unchallenged. This is a problem, when character is built through adversity. The emergence of Ebola-chan, an affectionate goddess despite her murderous nature, leans to the idea that other Viral entities could exist. We seek to either create or reach out to them, and utilize their destructive capacity as a way of self-development in return for sacrifice and worship.
