For now, I'd like to focus on more cosmic imagery. I really like the Soviet Space Race propaganda. They're both sci fi and nostalgic, and somehow inherently youthful. I want to find some way to emulate those aesthetics, but with American imagery. Something like first pic related, except more heroic and noble than badass.

Another good example of some good, cosmic aesthetically-pleasing imagery would be Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Very noble and virtuous, and pro-European.

Not even a font fag but if using Impact (it IS familiar and effective) remember to outline with a contrasting color. But that does take more effort

Yes, and a large part of Americana is imagery with other Western influences. The Greco-Roman architecture that adorns our capital, our European-style art, music, and culture from the 19th Century, as well as Christian symbols. So there's a lot of imagery to use, but I was referring mainly to a symbol that would be our swastika/sickle and hammer/rising sun/etc.

I made this one myself. ISIS made a promo video with an Obama pic I was able to track down and overlay the original image from. Pretty simple but one of my favs.
