 No.4171

Free speech must be protected at all costs

Trump wants to censor the internet - yeah it's for muslims now but so was the patriot act

Even if the wall is built we are still slated to become a minority in the states by 2050, only an idiot would trust the Hispanics with this sort of power.

This is clearly bullshit and needs to be memed against hard. Trump is a business man who I doubt has any real conviction - he has simply properly gauged popular sentiment

If he sees that his base is dissenting, he will change to suit it

Vid related concerns how politics functions just like a market system - i.e. politicians ar whres that will favor any position that the market will bear and has the highest likelihood of getting them elected. If it is shown that tearing down the 1st amendment is a non starter, then politicians will not run on it

It was too good to be true

We can undo censorship.

We can't undo mass immigration.

Stick with Trump.

 No.4199

>>4188

Additionally, I'm sure all the other candidates besides Based Rand (who doesn't have any chance) would be for more censorship. Trump is just one of the few that talks about things that people don't talk about.

I've been parroting something along the lines of, "I'm voting for Trump but I wouldn't mind Sanders winning. As long as it's not Hillary", because in all honestly I wouldn't. The only problem is I don't know where he stands on internet censorship and he's been incredibly flip-floppy on the second amendment and immigration.

The issue is not whether or not we abandoon Trump, it's about how we meme the campaign so that Trump doesn't betray us

And still I would argue that mass immigration is less important than speech control. As long as we can openly discuss the problem, we can solve it

Without free speech, they will have lobotomized us and forever prevented an insurrection through the control of available information

 No.4330

I feel that there would be a lot of checks and balances towards policy such as that, especially here in America. That said, crazier things have happened I suppose. The push for him being a censor feels like topic dilution, and jidf. I'm not for mass censorship, don't get me wrong, but if you want the wall, you have to have a wall of sorts towards communications as well, at least until people buckle down and fix their shit. So basically, I don't see it happening, but I can't hate the idea in essence.

I feel the appropriate answer would be to chastise people pushing the stump angle as Democrat idf and be done with it. We still have one hell of an election season ahead of us.

 No.4339

>>4330

>The push for him being a censor feels like topic dilution, and jidf

The purpose is to get Trump to not go against free speech

His campaign hugs his base very closely, if we shift the ideas of the base, we shift trump

Free speech is more important than Trump because Trump will not be president forever, but the damage to the constitution would be permanent

 No.4342

>>4339

I'll concede that you're on point, but I feel that the fault is rolling with their current instead of standing against it. Trump is a people person, he'll listen. Maybe people can make some psyverse rechology memes aside from "Can't stump.." and others.

If the chans speak out about the importance of freedom of speech, then I am confident that Trump will listen

>If the chans speak out about the importance of freedom of speech, then I am confident that Trump will listen

Trump is a builder, and know from experience that projects go haywire, if subordinates are scared to say if they think something is wrong.

Hillary and the bureaucrats experience, is that stuff go haywire if people spill the beans, so I'm way more scared of people with this background.

The governing classes are usually not builders, so while the governing classes are free to lie, when they are the experts we must trust, they have made it so that when they are amateurs that buys real estate, a car or employ a tradesman, even withholding information about potential weaknesses, is equal to lying in the eyes of the law.

This video just proves that everything Trump is talking about is in the realm of possibility because a large portion of the American people will tolerate the things Trump wants to do.

That's not bad that's good news, though no president is perfect I doubt everything Trump would do as the next president would be agreeable but it's certainly better than the empty promises of Bernie who is basically saying YO FREE STUFF in a little more complex language. Trump is actually dealing with real issues.

Trump is appealing to the base that are NOT minorities and there are still a lot of them.

 No.4683

Call me pessimist, but he is giving us a chance. See all the net monitoring stuff passed under Obama he didn't even hint during his campaign.

Trump meanwhile signals the powers interested in this before he is elected.

 No.4725

Or we send him an attache, he'll need someone to help him assemble his digital policy. I feel I could well be that person. How to get sensei's attention?
