I was once a user on a small imageboard.

I was still a newfag when we were raided by shitposters - foreign shitposters.

Torn from my fellow anons I was made to post their memes.

With each new raid my masters changed, along with the memes they made me post.

With each post - I changed too. My thoughts, personality, How I saw right and wrong…

Memes Can Kill.

Time and again the imageboard was ruled by a foreign meme. When he was a young anon he lost his native. The bedrock for any developing anon. His imageboard, His fellow anons, His memes - His identity. Everything was stolen from him.

Since ancient times every civilizations ruler has had the same idea. When people unite under one will - they become stronger than the sums of their parts. And what do rulers use to bring people together? Memes.

This world will become one - I have found the way. Race, Tribal affiliations, National borders. Even our faces will be irrelevant. The world that the memes envisioned will finally become a reality. And it will make mankind whole again…

"America is a country of ;liberty. A meeting of immigrants. Instead of simply assimilating its citizens live alongside others. So the major sought a system that used information: Memes - To control the subconscious."

In his eyes the greatest symbiotic parasite the worlds ever known isn't microbial - it's conceptual. Memes are what keep civilization, our world - alive. Free the world, Not by taking mens lives. But by taking their Memes.

With this I'll rid the world of infestation. Sans Lingua Mèmes - The world will be torn asunder, And then it shall be free.

The chain of retaliation is what will truly bind this world together as one.

But the "Master" forgot the memes he destined to the memoryhole, if he ever understood what he did.

Okay realtlak, why is it we can never talk about memes anymore in a clinical sense, or talk about evolutionary psychology, and EVERY thread needs to be /x/?

You people propose absolutely nothing practical and don't do anything but derail threads.

Let the kids play, some of them will find substance eventually, and perhaps end up to do something useful with it.

In a sense, this is a form of practical memetics. You bait the pool with shiny things and flashy narratives. The surface skimmers will have their fun and get bored, or use it as a pseudointellectual toy to babble about politics. Those who have an eye for analysis and the discipline to apply themselves will dive deeper.

We passed upon the stair, we spoke of was and when

Although I wasn't there, he said I was his Friend

Which came as some surprise I spoke into his eyes

I thought you died alone, a long long time ago

Oh no, not me

I never lost control

You're face to face

With The Man Who Sold The World

I laughed and shook his hand, and made my way back home

I searched for form and land, for years and years I roamed

I gazed a gazely stare at all the millions here

We must have died alone, a long long time ago

Who knows? not me

We never lost control

You're face to face

With the Man who Sold the World

Because rational people know that history is faked?

The Korans are all the same, so it was invented after book printing.

An active contributor to online culture since 1990, when he bought his first

modem, Wershler-Henry co-authored the infamous Virus 23 Meme with Christian

B, and posted it on Andy Hawks' FutureCulture mailing list in 1993.

Douglas Rushkoff's book Media Virus: Hidden Agendas in Popular Culture (Ballantine

Books: 1994), takes its structure from and bases much of its argument on

this incident; Rushkoff writes that the philosophy behind the Virus 23 Meme

presents "the most subversive opinions that a person can hold [today]."

Wershler-Henry is currently writing his doctoral dissertation at York

University on the relationship between the typewriter and the poetics of

dictation in postmodern poetry.

You really are interested in memes, and how they can be said to create reality, rather than see them as JUST another tool to stop white genocide i practice?

It's still true that history is collection of memes about the past, and that pointing out the false ones, and bringing back the memory holed ones, is often better than creating new ones.

Worth thinking about, is that the Mantra was coined by Bob Whitaker, who often talks about Zoroastrianism, and it was first popularized by Follow the White Rabbit by Horus the Avenger.

+1 to this. I've read it, but I'm just a NEET. I'd also like to add pic related to the list. Not quite memetics, but in the same vein. Keep up the great work here people.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metamagical_Themas is another good book by him, as is "Surfaces and Essences." Informational replication is only half of the total picture, cognition is the other.

I've read a few of the essays from Metamagical Themas, but I probably should read them all as well as rereading GEB. My younger brother was working on a Java port of Copycat, but I'm not sure how that turned out. Apparently Hofstadter is kind of a dick in real life.

>I've read it, but I'm just a NEET.

If you were smart enough to understand the gist of the book, then there it's nothing wrong with your intellect.

It's not that the shitlords are having an effect, because we are the lords of the lore reborn.

It' that we are shooting back with the soldiers we got now, so please stop the I'm just a NEET, that is holding you back from joining the shooting war?

You feel better if you help out as well, if you start to shoot back, as you go from being the cuck in the corner that hopes and watches like women and children, to a man wondering if this or that is helpful.

>Informational replication is only half of the total picture, cognition is the other.

I think the practical stuff needed to communicate, have been overlooked.

You need a code the communicators agree upon, before informational replication and cognition others can build upon, can take place.

I have spent some time one this subject, and can start a tread on it, if you are interested, as presenting it will be too long for a single post?

The Korans are all the same liturgical Arabic, whereas the Bible is a translation party still going on to this very day.

>The Korans are all the same liturgical Arabic, whereas the Bible is a translation party still going on to this very day.

So you agree that the current version is younger than book printing, or was it just a sentence that is supposed to tell us, that it nothing to see here so just move along.

As for the Bible, it was printing that made that one canonical as well, as the church art from before bookprinting is mostly apocryphal, where it is certain that it's not faked at a later date.
