Make a nice vectorized drawing with regular geometric shapes of the sigil, everything else looks retarded, save for real artistic talent.

Make it black on transparent background.

Put it over the image as layer.

Resize (holding shift to retain ratios) until it fits.

Play around with the opacity slider.

Add blur filters to taste.
