My friend and I both own this board. We created it a few months ago and have had a bit of trouble garnering some traffic. Of course, no one is obligated to come here, but if we peak your interest then we encourage you to visit us.
We used to be two trips (we only tripped in the thread because we ran them and made the guides/documents) who managed halfchan /cgl/'s makeup and skin care threads, because the board was misinformed for the longest time when it came to cosmetics and certain aspects of personal grooming. That all changed when Tumblr attacked. We moved here in hopes of helping everyone, man or woman, and took up an actual board (as opposed to just another thread somewhere) in order to encompass more topics.
If you don't use makeup, we don't discriminate. We welcome those seeking skin care advice, fashion help, nail care, plastic surgery, etc.

The atmosphere has very much changed. There are now threads where people are saying that skinny people (and skinny cosplayers) are disgusting and that fat people make better cosplayers. Now, while the running joke was that the board was full of fat girls, this wasn't always the case. And, many gulls actually did strive to lose weight in order to fit into burando dresses. Hell, big chested ones often spoke of getting reductions or asking /fit/ for tips on how to decrease the size so that they could stop buying plus sized. Fat is now being glorified, there are more trips (and new ones I haven't even seen before), JNig and Yaya get defended as artists when they were previously scorned for good reason, Tumblr fashion threads are the norm (pastel goth and that awful "soft grunge" trend), and you get banned for not agreeing with everyone else. People are getting banned for saying the word 'retarded'.
Skin care threads may as well be called Reddit 2.0, because all they do is stress things that Reddit stresses instead of taking everyone's concerns into consideration.
The user base is also blatantly younger now. People using XD left and right unironically and claiming to know everything about topics, only to be shut down by the few stubborn old gulls who refuse to make the move to 8ch /cgl/.
Also, remember when sugar daddy threads were scorned and used to be deleted? There were about three up a week and a half ago, encouraging the practice.
