This board does a great job of getting the word out, but I wanted something a little more organized, something to help show that there are alternatives to "legacy" boards, or boards with a higher quality or more specific focus.

So I started this, the 8chan Directory.

It's still in its infancy, and there are still a lot of boards that need to be indexed, but for now, tell me what you think?

Also, I'm not trying to replace /boards/. I want this to work along side it. My board's not meant to advertise or discuss boards like this one is, just to show alternatives and help smaller boards out as well.

Nice, as long as it's maintained I see it working way better than the tag system. There is a small but interesting class of boards on 8chan which I hope you could add, (active) games:

They are mostly slow/dead, but slide into rapid activity through exposure from time to time.
