Wasn't it started by Asda? Which is owned by Walmart.

A lot of companies are owned by Americans, or are multinational which include Americans, or further are just money grabbing cunts looking for any excuse to cash in by making 'an event'.

Black Friday in the US has got so much coverage over the last few years it's widely understood and so is easy to implement and for people to 'understand' what they ought to do - which is act like cunts.
