Why does Newcastle/Sunderland have such a good metro system?Southampton/Portsmouth is the same population and barely has functioning buses and it takes 50 minutes to get from one to the other on the train.
Southampton is the busiest cruise port in the whole of Europe and doesn't even have a single fucking tram. A reasonably wealthy agglomeration of two coastal cities totalling 1.2 million people if you include everything within 10 miles of the two city centres doesnt even have a single fucking tram.
Complain about transport thread.

Our ttraffic system is a laughing stock. I went across the foyes corner lights today at 11.03, at 14.20 I was still queued up for the Howard rd lights. How hard can it he for someone yo go out and see where the lights are making problems worse? Start stop, start stop, drive down any side rd and dodge all the parked cars and looneys driving like **** through the gaps. We are in the year 2015, you can't have a big city without proper public transport. We are the joke of Europe
