Happy July 12th to Britannia and her supporters! This is a famous day in history and one that deserves to be commemorated.

If you want to have a separate country and you're at /britannia/, you're doing it wrong.

Are you naturally stupid or did you get beat up by an Ultsterman one too many times?

I'm not opposed to the Union, I just think the British crown lost their claim to govern Ireland when jolly ol' Henry broke with the Vatican, who are the ones who granted lordship to England in the first place. Not to mention that the person who did that was the only English Pope in history.

Cromwell only made matters worse, and if you're really a monarchist I expect you'd agree. Is it patriotic that the Orange Order pays tribute to a foreigner from the continent over the native Stuart line?

Just to make my position clear, I'd support Irish membership in the Commonwealth, even if they don't have Her Majesty as their head of state. I'm completely against extremist groups like the IRA and the UDF, and completely respect the British government's decision to allow the Northern Irish to have self-determination. The Irish Tricolor stands for peace between green and orange.

Pick one.
