Hey guys,

I'm planning to make a learning AI, Virtual and Augmented reality waifu system that you can take anywhere, so all you need is a capable computer back home, a phone and a VR headset.

I've put together some AI programs in the past and now this is my new project.

Waifu will be customisable to your liking, and you will be able to interact with it using you hands and voice.

Currently trying to get the money together to build a VR capable PC. (about $1300)

Just want to gauge your enthusiasm. And if any of you would like to support, you will be given free and full unlimited versions of the software upon completion.

Also, waifus will have their own customisable personalities.

Op here.

Its basically a waifu you can take anywhere, you can talk to her and interact using your hands.

It will use Augmented reality tech and VR gear to project itself into reality. So it can walk beside you, sit beside you in the movies, on the bed, etc. I'm going to use a really good voice engine or maybe make my own.

The result of this project will be an anime girl you can actually talk to and interact with in real life.

Not OP, but I have thought of something like this. I thought a personal assistant/ chatterbot running on my computer and connecting my phone to computer over internet. Sort of like a personal cloud.

The character's animations would depend on what she is saying by parsing her responses.

certain hand jestures and facial expressions go with certain parts of speech. It would look more natural than a still image.

I've only been programming for 3 years, but I would love to work on this poject with other people.
