What is Agrarianism?

Agrarianism is the belief that agricultural living is the only true way to achieve true independence and self-sufficiency.

We believe that social, physical and spiritual health are best preserved within a community that is intimately involved with cultivation.

What kind of Christians is this for?

This is a pan-Christian movement, but modernists are excluded. This movement is for traditional Christians who wish to preserve the faith.

What does this movement aim to achieve?

The goal of this group is to create a self-sufficient, off-grid, permacultural, traditional Christian community in either Victoria, New South Wales or Tasmania.

Building an off-grid house is cheap and relatively easy - the only real obstacles are funding, planning and building.

Are you still around?

4ec4e6 No.109

Yep, I'm still lurking. I've been considering where our energy should be focused on. Instead of creating a single independent community, we could promote nationwide independence. We could support agricultural values, freer trade, natural living and stronger communities amongst the whole country, or even world. My original intention with this project was to have an escape plan for when the federalist/globalist entanglement collapses, but I think that our time would be more well spent if we promoted independence on a larger scale.

Regardless of how much power the Western governments have, there's one thing that definitely needs to be fixed. They're trying to flip the whole system on its head. The federal government is the most powerful, it is above the state government, which is above the local government. That's the wrong way around. They're forcing us to depend on them by creating a more centralized society, and soon their will be one world government that has jurisdiction over all people. We need to fix the hierarchical system and rebuild the natural order, where the individual person is first, then the family, then the local government, then the state government, and lastly, the federal government.

We need to decentralize our society before it's too late. Government is not God.

How is the project going?

I am interested in Russian orthodox religion.

89a993 No.113

The project is currently stagnant, which will continue until someone is willing to invest their time and money… People won't be motivated to start something like this until things start to noticeably fall apart. For now, we will be waiting and watching.

If you're interested in Russian Orthodoxy you should go visit one of their churches! Use australianchurches.net or churchfinder.com.au/find-my-church

9dcaf6 No.114

I don't speak for the project. I am an Aussie who will be moving to rural Tassie in the next few years with or without these good folk. I know of others who are doing the same.

Here's an excerpt from the manifesto:

In Genesis 10 we read about Noah’s sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. In the 17th century, Isidore of Seville published historical work asserting that the European people of today descended from Japheth – this idea is still accepted today among historians.

“The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah. The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. From these the coastland peoples spread in their lands, each with his own language, by their clans, in their nations.”(Genesis 10:2-5) We believe in the sovereignty of our lands, languages, clans and nations. Furthermore, we believe that each and every people deserve the same. “These are the clans of the sons of Noah, according to their genealogies, in their nations”(Genesis 10:32) We believe that individual genealogies belong to individual nations, and we believe that the preservation of these genealogies is a human right. My preference to live with my kinsmen in my community is the same as my preference to live with my brothers in my house.

To add to this we read in Genesis 6:2-4 the first mention of race mixing:

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis+6%3A2-4&version=KJV

The patristic understanding of this verse is that the "sons of God" were the children of Seth and the "daughters of men" were the children of Cain (the first murderer). This mixing of races began the corruption of mankind that ended with the flood and Noah's ark.

I liked this idea to preserve the traditional Christianity to prevent them from becoming corrupt because it is important to me because some of the Christianity denominations are corrupted with a great thank to Cultural Marxism. How do you stop them from corrupting the traditional Christianity?

The Orthodox faith reveres its Saints and their teachings. Modern revisionism is discarded when it clashes with the teachings of the Saints

By confronting heresy, reading the Bible, studying history and looking to tradition.

It's difficult to organize a pan-Christian movement due to doctrinal conflict, but there are many things that we can agree upon as traditionalists. The good thing about this movement is that lukewarm doctrines are unlikely to conflict with the truly faithful ones, since lukewarm people are unlikely to care enough to join us.

I always wanted to taste the rabbit meats. I heard that they are very lean and there are many wild hares and rabbits around. They are considered pests due to destruction to the ecosystems so they needed to be rid of so why not hunt them to the extinct?

This area would probably not be high on your list (sinful neighbors, expensive property) but please let me know if you are in the area.

North Tasmania sounds really good

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible_Belt#Australia

>There is a section of south-eastern Queensland comprising the towns of Laidley, Gatton and Toowoomba which is referred to as the Bible belt. In Tasmania, the North-Western portion of the state is regarded in this context.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottsdale,_Tasmania

>Scottsdale is a town in the north-east of Tasmania, Australia.

>Scottsdale is a relatively Anglo-Saxon community, with the largest groups of foreign-born locals being from the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Italy. 72% of the population identifies as Christian.

>Scottsdale voters showed their conservatism compared to other Tasmanian towns when they gave the Liberal candidate at the 2004 Federal election, Michael Ferguson, 61.72% of their vote on a two-party preferred basis.

http://tasmaniantimes.com/index.php?/article/state-of-homophobia/

>Tasmania’s North West Coast was found to be one of the country’s most homophobic regions with almost 50% of respondents believing homosexuality is immoral and homosexual adoption wrong.

http://www.tasmanianirrigation.com.au/uploads/docs/TI_NE_Presentation_Final.pdf

>Highly suited to livestock production for both meat and dairy as well as and vegetable production both fresh and processed

>Highly fertile, free draining soil types that are manageable for a range of enterprises

Obviously we will not share wives. That is ridiculous. This is not a cult. People will be free to leave if they wish to. We are traditionalists and that often seems like extremism to those who are used to being very "progressive".

To elaborate on what we mean by traditionalism - it is not looking back to a golden age that is fictitious and never existed, we instead wish to live by God's Word now in the present. It is also not utopian as this life will no doubt be a struggle (as all life is).

I think that any seperatist movement must look in the long term and realize true seperation must come ethnically, physically and most important of all culturally so that future generations will be less likely to re integrate and increase the level longevity of the project. By impracing christianity as part of our state it is a great start but we should also try to seperate ourselves linguistically. Western frisian is 80% similar to english but different enough to create difference and can be learned by english speakers in a couple weeks. Any ideas to enforce our separtism.

Should we name our village after a saint?

I think we should have a distinct and conservative mode of dress somewhat like the amish but perhaps with a bit more individuality.

Post any ideas you have about anything relating to culture etc.

I was thinking potatos would be a good source of income, in america they average around 160,000 to 180,000 a year with a net profit of around 110,000 to 120,000 due to monsanto fees, taxes and paying of the land. I think since the market might be smaller in aus ( correct me if im wrong) i think we could make more and if we went into the land together we could pay off the debt faster to maximize profits.
