Cats bring joy when they're there. It's heartbreaking when that joy is suddenly taken away…

My cat passed away almost 2 years ago. I miss her so much at times, but my sister's cat reminds me so much of my cat that she kinda makes up for the loss. Still isn't the same, though.
Sorry, OP. Was it a natural death, if you don't mind answering. You don't have to if you don't feel good about bringing it up.

I adopted a little 3 month old stray about 3 months ago, she was an inside, outside cat. I woke up a few days ago to find her dead, no explanation. I really do miss her.

This little kitten of mine ended up with terrible seizures and I had to put her down.
She was skittish as hell, hiding from strangers and my family. For me, she was cuddly and super affectionate- to the point where she'd crawl into bed with me, and try digging down if I didn't let her into the blanket.
She used to play fetch; you'd roll up paper into a ball, throw it- and then she'd pounce on it, chew on it savagely, then drag it back to you in her mouth.
She also drooled when she was super happy and relaxed and being petted.
