It looks like depending on how fast the /vg/ thread reaches the image limit, it might sometimes be better to just let it die and create a new one.
That takes long though, so lets have a thread for general discussion here that can be used during the wait for archival.
So, what's everyone doing?
No.1354
Just so there's no confusion, the other general thread seems to be for discussion of ccg and ccrp itself, this is just a temporary replacement for the /vg/ thread while it's being archived.
No.1355
I'm sitting in watching Netflix and applying for jobs.
It's boring, I wish we had more activity at these hours.

So this is basically /v/ or SFW /b/. And the other thread is /q/.
No.1358
>>1355
We seem to be an euro majority but it's normal for people to still be busy at these hours.
>>1356
Yeah, that's about right.
And just as I made this, the vg finally got archived. Well, we'll have this for the future.

Maybe we should post more /v/ threads to get more attention? People rarely go to /vg/ for new threads. They go there just to visit the generals they normally do.
No.1360
>>1358
I reckon we should keep this thread as a general discussion thread for anything we like since in /vg/ we'll get shit for going off topic.
No.1361

From my brief experiences with /v/ I don't even know what sort of people we could expect. Well, that's fun in itself, sure.
>>1360
Yeah, it's good for that too.

/v/'s thing is variety. Everyone from fuckboy to /fit/izen browses that board. It's where I found my first Rinmaru thread and also where I found my second which lead me here.
No.1364
So glad this board is a thing.
Max comfy.
Wish I could give input on where to post a thread, but I'm pretty sure /a/ would be bad and the other boards I browse probably wouldn't care.

I will forever associate /v/ with the short girly german buttboy that wanted to diddle his mother and have someone piss on his face.
How do I always stumble in this shit.

I like history stuff too, been rewatching the 2011 Three Kingdoms series recently.
Being a cute anime girl is the best though.

Well at the moment, I'm practicing (with varying levels of success) making clothes for dolls, and indeed, making dolls from scratch. Normally I just repair clothes for my housemates though.

I like history, or at least I used to. I studied it for 3 years at school.

That's neat, keep at it and I'm sure you'll be pro in no time. My experience starts and stops with being able to turn on a sewing machine, heh.

We're probably not talking about the same type of dolls. There are ones composed of resins and the like that are ludicrously expensive. I'm just learning how to make ones out of stuffing and fabric, the kind that grandma might give to her granddaughter :3 It's pretty cheap for materials.
>>1385
It's a bit idealistic, but not as ludicrous. Especially given how many britbongs are here. Outside of the UK could be mega-money though.
>>1386
I'll let you know how it comes along! I'm buying more fabrics soon. Physically walking to get em too this time rather than ordering.
No.1390
>>1388
If you like doing this, once you get a bit more experience and feel more comfortable in your work you should open an Etsy shop. I know I'd definitely buy one, it would be super cute and I'd be helping out someone from /ccg/ which would be awesome.
No.1391

I'd probably feel bad if you had to pay for shipping across the whole continent to gift me something so expect payment at least on my end.
No.1392

I'd be more than happy to cover the shipping for something like that.
No.1394
>>1390
That's an interesting prospect, but it's something I want to do out of love rather than profit. Shipment is the only thing I would even consider :3
>>1391
>>1392
I'll let you all know how it ends up going! My specialty is with metal so fabrics aren't particularly intimidating. I'm not even sure I'd ask for shipping costs, it would all be a labour of love <3
ALSO:
I was talking to Annon about the difficulties of writing fan-fiction about all of you because I don't want to misrepresent your characters. He suggested making a character sheet template for people to complete. So bam, I made one! It's a bit rough, but I'm hoping that if we made a thread for people to post them, it would make it easier for people to work on art, fanfics, etc and for some, they can list their RP interests too! Either way, check it out, and make any changes you'd like to it.
