Just to comment some mistakes, when in a queen pawn opening white plays c4 (or black c5) it generally serves to fight the center.
So 4.c5, passing the pawn and leaving the fight in the center makes that first attack nonsense. 10… c4 is almost the same mistake, but at least it served to win some space.
White in general has being too shy, developing pieces in the second row, moving the same ones several times without improvement (where can the knight go from c1??), and giving the center without a fight.
Black made several mistakes too, but they go unnoticed because of the bad white play.
The most obvious are:
- Changing a knight while having the initiative and more space (9… f5 would have been great)
- Terrible squares for the minor pieces: useless bishops, c6 knight hanging and allowing 18.Nxd5 (instead of 18.Nc1??)
- Attacking for a side and then open the centre, leaving the black king vulnerable.
I stopped watching it after 23.Qxg6, since white has one less piece, no attack, and there is no queens with which making the game sharper, so the game is over.
