They are scientifically precious artifacts.

We can certainly gain insights into some unclear things by studying them or rather we did but we don't have to forgot that they were created under jewish =pharisee influence.

They are not the bible.

Why do you ask? Are there any controversial parts you want to talk about?

They pretty much confirmed that the Bible we have today is virtually identical to the one they had back then. In that alone, it's a precious document.

I thought they were invaluable confirmations of a lot of scripture, such as – if I recall correctly – the major prophets and Psalms
