 No.2439

https://web.archive.org/web/20150605213515/http://speisa.com/modules/articles/index.php/item.1420/today-norway-did-this.html

The majority in Parliament today agreed to put Christianity back into the school schedule. Contrary to social development.

After a Muslim MP proposed that the king should become a faithless and Norway should stop being a Christian country, the parliament not only rejected his claim, but countered it by re-introducing Christianity lessons in school.

Today, the majority in the Ministry of Education and Research Committee in the Parliament decided that the subject Religion, philosophy and ethics (RPE) will be converted to CRPE.

The new letter stands for Christianity, and that religion should have 50 percent of the teaching time, it was decided upon.

This change comes because the Conservative Party and the Progress Party has signed a compromise with the Christian Democrats. The lessons are being introduced despite strong opposition. But that is the beauty of a democracy. The majority decides.

The parliament's first voting about it comes on 11 June, but as it stands it seems that the two governing parties and the Christian Democrats will get their will in the parliament.

Many believe that Norway is on its way of becoming a neutral society in which the school provides space for the teaching of different religions and beliefs, and it will be interesting to see what happens in classes when Christianity again is on the time table.

I am not too optimistic.

First of all we have this here since ever, and it is nnot worth very much.

Singing, feel good "Christianity", marxist propaganda, let's worship the jews and similar stuff is done there.

Next it will be even worse in Norway since they are heretics.

I see no real good coming from this.

A nation that is on a good path on the other hand would be Poland for instance.

Poland is on the decline in terms of Christianity, the youth are abandoning Catholicism en masse.
